Multigenerational Homeschooling with Jayne Neal & Katya Voss
$6.00
How can Christian homeschoolers not only pass on our faith and vision to our own children, but also teach them to pass it on to their children “to the third and fourth generation”?
A mother/daughter team share their perspectives on being first- and second-generation homeschooling moms in New Mexico. “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children” (Psalm 103:17). How can Christian homeschoolers not only pass on our faith and vision to our own children, but also teach them to pass it on to their children “to the third and fourth generation”? Jayne and Katya definitely don’t have all the answers but they look forward to discussing this question and their own quest for multi-generational faithfulness in this session, with a Q&A time at the end.
Jayne Neal is a homeschooling pioneer who began her courageous, counter-cultural home education journey in 1988. She homeschooled each of her five children through high school, all of whom went on to successfully graduate from UNM. She is an avid lover of music who studies voice, plays piano, assists with music at her church, and teaches piano lessons to her grandchildren. Her greatest joys are serving Christ by serving others, debating politics, and baking healthy cookies for her grandchildren, who currently number 18.
Katya (Neal) Voss is the intrepid mother of all chaos. She is wife to one, mother to eight, and literature teacher and AWANA leader to many. She studied English literature, music, soccer and basketball, among other life topics, such as gluten-free baking and nursing twins.
