Graduation 2021
It is almost time… the time you’ve been planning for years… your child is not so much a child anymore. Is he or she ready to graduate?
CAPE-NM would love to help you celebrate this milestone by inviting you to participate in a Graduation Recognition Ceremony for your graduate. Note that students do not graduate “through CAPE-NM,” but rather we offer the opportunity for you to deliver a diploma in a public setting.
The CAPE-NM Recognition Ceremony Statement of Purpose reads…
Our purpose is to make a public statement that home educators can and should stay the course and finish the race. This ceremony is intended to inspire and encourage homeschool families, their extended family, and friends. CAPE-NM does not endorse any one educational program nor provide validation of individual success. Rather, CAPE-NM provides the opportunity to present hope and promise to the community of Christian home educators. It is CAPE-NM’s intention to let our light so shine before men that they might see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:18)
This year, besides the 2021 graduates, we are extending the invitation to anyone who graduated in 2020 who was unable to participate in a ceremony due to state lockdowns.
The ceremony will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM. Registration opens February 1, 2021, and will close on March 15, 2021.
