CONVENTION INFORMATION

As we head into the final preparations for Convention, we want you to know that there are many volunteers busy at work with all the last-minute items that come up.  Most importantly, we want you to know that we are praying for you and lifting up the name of every attendee by name.   Our biggest desire is not that you find the perfect curriculum, although that’s important, but we want each of you to be encouraged and fortified in your decision to educate your children at home.

Please take the time to look at the Schedule and Workshop Descriptions here and download any handouts you might desire here.   Remember that we will be recording most workshops, so when you find that you can’t decide which workshop to attend, you can purchase the session for encouragement later.  Many people find that those workshop recordings are just the boost they need during a challenging day in their homeschool.

For those new to homeschooling or still gathering information, there will be a free Getting Started workshop Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm, at Legacy, in room 102.   If you know anyone that might benefit from this workshop, please share the information.

We also have a great lineup of performances for the Showcase Friday night from 6:30 to 8:00PM.  This is a great opportunity for you to bring grandparents and friends who wonder what these crazy homeschoolers are up to.  This is a free event that is open to the public, not just registered attendees.

Finally, if you haven’t registered yet, it’s not too late.   Registration will remain open online and our Registration Committee will be available beginning at 8AM both days to help you register onsite.  If you have any questions, please email registration@cape-nm.org for more information.
