Registration Details

The cost of attending the Leadership Retreat is for lodging and meals at Glorieta. In an attempt to keep costs down CAPE does not charge a fee. As such, registration is a three step process.

Step 1- Make your reservation with Glorieta by calling 800-797-4222 (you will be speaking with a reservation agent in North Carolina). Tell them you are registering for the "CAPE-NM Fall Family Leadership Retreat". You will need to indicate your lodging needs by choosing:

• Large Garden Apartment w/ Kitchen (capacity 4-6**) $55/night
• 2 Queen bed deluxe hotel room (no Kitchen) $65/night

**Garden Apartments can accommodate more occupants by using cots &/or sleeping bags.

Step 2 - Provide the names to Glorieta of everyone attending in your family along with the ages of your children to determine your meal needs***. We have contracted for a 3 meal package beginning with dinner 10/11, lunch and dinner 10/12. The meal package cost is:

• Adults - $31.50
• Youth (6-11) - $18.50
• Children 5 & under - FREE

***You do not have to take the meal package if you reserved a Garden Apartment and prefer to prepare meals in your room. No arrangments have been made for breakfasts, please plan on bringing breakfast food or purchase individually at the cafeteria.

Step 3 - Notify CAPE that you have registered with Glorieta by emailing Eugene Like at like@cape-nm.org or calling 575-451-7453. Please provide:

• Names of all attending in your family including children.
• The ages of your children. (To help facilitate the children's program)s
• If your children are over the age of 13. We need to know if they will be attending the adult sessions with you or will be available to help with the children's program.

We will be making registration packets for you to pick up when you arrive. We will also be contacting you prior to the Leaders' Retreat with specific on site check-in instructions. (If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call and ask.)


Anyone making their reservation before September 1st is automatically eligible to be picked for a free couple registration to the 2008 CAPE-NM Home School Convention.

Reservations for attendance need to be made by Sept. 10th. Late registrations are welcome but will be subject to room availabitliy. Please email like@cape-nm.org or call 575-451-7453 prior to registering late.
